Deep Down
Hello All! Thanks for coming!
about me...
I am a computer programmer for the State of Ohio (USA) with a strong interest in art. I live in Columbus, Ohio and have a Bachelors of Science degree from DeVry University. Currently, I am attending the Ohio State University part-time to study computer art. Along with art, I enjoy pretty much all facets of the entertainment industry: movies, music, literature, creative writing, etc.
I've been working on a novel that I'd like to write one day. Its called 'Wolf' and its is divided into 8 parts. I just recently finished a summary version of the entire saga! Hopefully, somedday, I will have entire saga of novels! You can see it latest here: Wolf. I'd love to hear your thoughts... please email me!
about my art...
As you can see, I enjoy what I'll call computer art. Basically using a computer to create art. I've done a lot of pencil drawings, though I haven't been able to post them up here on GFX. Maybe someday, I'll have a scanner and put them all up (or at least most of it!). My photo manipulations tend to be a kind of hyper-reality. I will use photos (usually my own) to create an alternate reality of sorts or tell a story. I really try to make the images look like it is an actual photograph. And I really like the image to force the audience to ask questions about it. If that doesn't happen, then I don't consider it a success! What my photo manip work allows me to do is take a lot of photographs. I would like to think that I have a good eye for photos, be it 'as is' or stock for a photo manip. My father has a really good eye and years of family vacations have rubbed off, fortunately! More recently, I've been getting into 3D modelling. It has been a rather enjoyable road and I look forward to posting something soon! But I have a lot to learn and the possibilities are endless!
about the future...
Oh the future... what do you hold for us? Hopefully my writing will be published and some Hollywood exec loves it so much, they make it into a series of movies! 'Cause you got to have goals!
Well, thanks again for coming and I hope you enjoy my artwork. Please come back, because the art never stops! It is constantly growing and expanding and evolving!
